I love when an idea that started as “it would be fun to do this”  becomes a reality.  I have been thinking and wanting to do this photo shoot for sometime but with the business of wedding season my idea had to be put on hold.  A few weeks ago I met with the lovely Brianna from Blissful Weddings by Brianna to catch up on life and talk about a possible photo shoot. Besides being a wedding coordinator, Brianna is one of my go to models.  She is beautiful, talented and the camera loves her almost as much as I do!  Great minds think a like!  Brianna must have read my mind because the concept she had for the photo shoot was just what I had been thinking about.  So we put our plan into action.  We  needed  models and a location.  The models came easy, thanks to my awesome friends, Hannah and Courtney, who are always willing to create art with me.  I also invited my sister, Leslie and my sister-in-law Maria.   Got to have some family fun as well.

After searching for a location,  I found the picture perfect place….Smith Rock State Park.  This place is unbelievably beautiful!  So majestic and as soon as we got there I knew it was going to make an awesome backdrop for the photo shoot.

For my fellow photogs if you ever want to shoot there, you need to call thirty days in advance to get a permit.  Provide liability of  insurance and sign a waiver form.  I want to give a huge thanks to Scott and Matt from Smith Rock Park.  They were so friendly to us and Matt went out of his way to show me some locations where we could shoot.  Thanks guys!
