Every year I look forward to the snow, photographing in the snow, and having fun in the snow. I love photographing in the snow maybe it’s because it’s something I only get to do once or twice a year. The beauty about living in Oregon is that we get all four seasons and everything is only a short drive away. For this shoot we drove up the Willamette Pass to Cresent Creek Cottages. I called the owners to ask for permission to photograph there as it is a private location. The owners where super friendly and where willing to let us photograph at a last minute notice. Thanks Hiedi for the suggestion. It was the perfect location for the Fun in the Snow photo shoot with some of the LGP Models.
To say it was cold is an understatement and I am so proud of John, Mady and Jordan for braving the cold. It pretty much snowed the entire time but the models didn’t complain! I love doing monthly shoots with my LGP Models it’s one of the many perks you get for being part of the LGP Senior Model Team. Next month we will be heading to the beach for our beach theme shoot and in March we are doing our 70’s theme shoot. If you want to be part of the LGP Model Experience it’s not too late. I am in the process of sending out invitations to be part of the LGP Model Team as this is by invitation only. NO application needed or prior modeling experience needed as well. This invitation is for Class of 2017 only. So if you are a Class of 2017 or know someone who is Class of 2017. Please contact us using the contact tab above so we can send you more information and an invite.
I kind of went a little crazy with this shoot and have so many amazing images of John, Mady and Jordan that instead of showing them all in one post I decided to feature each model individually in the next few day, but for now enjoy a taste of what is to come.
John is actually one of my Junior models. So excited to have him as a Class of 2017 Senior Model. I normally don’t do this, but this young man took the day off to spend it with us and be more of an assistant. He did not only drive two of the models over the pass, he also brought props for us, and help the girls walk to their photo location as the snow was knee high on someplaces and made it hard to walk without sinking in our loosing your balance. Thanks Mikey! Did I mentioned that it snow pretty much the entire time?? Postcard perfect picture!
Never a dull moment with this girl! She is always making me laugh! One of my favorite of Jordan. Our theme was Fun in the Snow so we could not end our day without a snowball fight! Bring it on!!Ok so this might be my favorite of Jordan. I love her playful spirt!
Even the parents joined the snow fight.
I love when parents come to the photo session. Every now and then I grab some pictures of them and their child. The crew. Thanks everyone for making this a Fun in the Snow kind of day! Jeff, John, Mady, Jordan, Mikey, and Hiedi.

[…] I am truly blessed to do what I love. Sometime I forget that my job is a job. There are days that I feel more like play then work. Like the time I went to the snow with some of the LGP Models. Seriously, it should be illegal to have this much fun at work. If you missed the group session from “Fun In The Snow” I posted a few weeks ago, you can view it here. […]
