I am so in love with this Fine Art styled wedding at Tremaine Ranch that Karie and Field Denny of Ace and Whim hosted at United 2015 in Scottsdale Arizona. When the news went out that Karie and Field where going to be teaching a Fine Art wedding class at Showit United 2015, I knew I had to be part of it. I have been following Karie and Field for sometime and I absolutely love their work and heart. Karie and Field have a heart of gold and a passion to educate and give back to the wedding industry.

The locations for the styled shoot was a photographers dream. Tremaine Ranch was the perfect backdrop for the Mid Century Boho styled wedding.

We weren’t sure if the shoot was going to happen as a thunderstorm was moving our way. During the shoot we were serenaded by the beautiful sounds of thunder and for me it was magical as I love the sound of thunder…it remains me of my childhood. Luckily it didn’t start raining until the end of the shoot.

I love hanging out with other photographers and learning from them. I love Karie’s approach to teaching and capturing raw moments that capture the essence of a couple’s true romance. It’s about less posing and more directing and guiding the couple.
