Here I Am Again… With a Half-Written To-Do List and a Full Heart from Greece 🇬🇷
If you’ve ever had a grand plan to be wildly productive before a big vacation and then totally not follow through… hi, you’re my people.
Before we left for our three-week adventure in Greece, I had every intention to have emails scheduled, blog posts queued, and a picture-perfect social media calendar. And then—life.
Somewhere between juggling client work, overthinking my outfit for Santorini photos, and realizing I forgot to buy travel-size toothpaste (again), I had to make a decision: Pull an all-nighter to get everything done or give myself grace, get some sleep, and start my vacation with peace—not panic.
I chose the latter. And honestly? It felt so good.
We glorify hustle. We pride ourselves on being doers. But the truth is: we don’t have to do everything, all at once, all by ourselves.
Sometimes, the most productive thing you can do… is rest.
So let’s talk about prioritizing—without the overwhelm. Here are a few strategies that have saved my sanity more than once.
1. Identify your non-negotiables.
What are the tasks only you can do that truly move your business forward? Focus on those first. Delegate or delay the rest.
2. Schedule “CEO time” weekly.
Block off sacred time in your calendar to plan, reflect, and look at the big picture. You’re not just an employee—you’re the visionary.
3. Create a “Later List.”
Every shiny idea doesn’t need immediate action. Keep a running list of tasks or dreams that can wait until you have the bandwidth.
ou’re building something amazing. And that means you’ll have seasons of hustle and seasons of pause. Both are valuable. Both are necessary.
So whether you’re crushing your to-do list or letting it breathe while you recover from jet lag (hi, me ✈️), know this:
You’re doing enough.
You are enough.
And grace is always an option.
Thanks for being part of my journey. Let me know which of these 3 productivity tips you will implement in your business. Stay tuned for the Greece highlights coming soon—plus photos I may or may not have already ordered prints of.
P.S. Due to my less-than-perfect planning (whoops 😅), I’ve decided to extend the $150 off early bird pricing for the Live & Grow Retreat—but only until June 15th! Use code “LGP150” at checkout.
