A few months ago I had the privilege to work with Beausoleil Bridal Boutique and Mr Formal on “Classy on the Streets” Formal Campaign that showcased some designer prom gowns and tuxedos.
You can see the full blog post of the campaign here.
This was my first time doing something like this and I am not going to lie….it was a lot of hard work but I don’t think I ever had this much fun photographing a group of teenagers!
Now that my wedding season has come to an end for the year and high school senior shoots are slowing down, I can now focus on featuring each model from the “Classy on the Streets” Formal Campaign.
Meet Akio. Akio is a sophomore at Willamette High School. Besides being a handsome young man, Akio has many great qualities. He is charming, respectful, and has a heart of gold. One of the many things I like about Akio, is the relationship he has with his mom. I love seeing them together and the chemistry they have with each other.
I asked Brandie, Akio’s mom to share a little about Akio. In her own words……Akio is one of the most passionate caring 15 year old’s that I know. He keeps himself very busy with all his activities and interests. You will find him mixing his own music, while dancing & singing to the beat. He is very active in Boy Scouts, currently (1) rank away from achieving his “Eagle”, all while spending multiple nights a week conditioning, and working out with the WHS Varsity Cheer squad. Akio, is that person that you want in your corner, he will be by your side to lift up your spirits, share his passion for football & food, or climb that mountain with! Overall, he is a laid back, fun loving, easy going teenager who loves life and all those around him.
Akio, I am so grateful that when ever I need a young man to be part of my photo shoots, I can always count on you and your mom to save day. You have beautiful spirit. There is never a dull moment with you and you are the best team player and one of my favorite male models!. Thanks for letting me photograph you and always going along with my crazy ideas!
