Earlier this year I went to visit my home town of Guachinango, Jalisco to work on a project that I have been wanting to do for a very long time. I was super excited about my trip and grateful to my husband and kids for allowing me to be away from home for a month. My trip was not all business though. I had an amazing time visiting with family and eating delicious authentic Mexican food. And to put the icing on the cake, I also got to photograph some special people just for fun. It doesn’t get any better than this.
Meet my friend Manuel. He is funny, polite, and plays the clarinet in one of the towns local bands, Banda Teregal….And he has the most beautiful blue eyes. I had so much fun exploring the country side of Guachinango with Manuel and my sister, Leslie. Don’t need to tell you how beautiful Guachinango is. The images speak for themselves.
