My first destination wedding of the year and you know it’s going to be a hot day if it’s in California! I have been looking forward to this wedding since last November when we did a prompt engagement session of the couple while they were visiting family in Eugene, Oregon. We had so much fun and the camera absolutely loved them. When Oscar and Norma asked me to photograph their wedding in California, I was beyond excited! This was my first destination wedding of the year, and who wouldn’t want to photograph in California? It doesn’t get better than this…a much coveted California sunny day, palm trees, and a stunning bride and groom!
I love photographing at new locations. New places mean new ideas and that is always fun for me. Oscar and Norma were married in the beautiful Historic Memorial Chapel at the University of Redlands. The place was absolutely beautiful with enormous stained glass windows. Following the ceremony, the bride and groom headed to the Smitten Club where cocktails, dinner, and a night of fun, laughter, and dancing awaited them.
A huge thanks to my assistant, Lauren Nygard of Lauren Nygard Photography for her hard work and for taking these photos of the groom. Lauren you rock!
I love to travel so if you are getting married outside of Eugene, Oregon, please contact me for travel fees and to talk more about your destination photography needs.
