I am taking the month of December off from scheduling photo sessions so I can spend more time with my family, focus on my marketing material for next year and hopefully catch up on all my blogging. I have so many beautiful weddings to share with you, as well as fun fashion shoots, high school seniors, and random shoots. Yes, I am hoping to be all caught up by the end of the year so I can start fresh when 2013 rolls in.
This wedding took place at the beautiful McMenamin’s Grand Lodge in Forest Grove.
I had the opportunity to assist my friend from Pursuit 31 , Angela from Photography by AJAY as her second shooter. While Angela was hanging out with the bride and brides maids, I go to hang out with the groom and groom’s men. Taylor and the guys where fun to hang out with. Full of energy and with a wit sense of humor. I don’t think I ever laughed so much during a photo shoot!
The “First Look” was one of my favorite events of the day. I wish every couple did a “First Look”. Even though Marcy and Taylor were surrounded by the wedding party and two photographers, it was like we didn’t exist. Their emotions were priceless! A little bit of suspense, a little bit of laughter, a little bit of tears, but lots and lots of love and passion.
I love weddings and I love photographing couples in love!
