A Gift From My Dad | Eugene Portrait Photographer

Guachinango, Jalisco , Mexico. A Taste of My Heritage: The Charro | Eugene Photographer

There is something very special about seeing a young man in a Charro outfit.  Every time I see one, it brings me joy and pride.  You see the charro outfit represent who I am, my roots, my culture, my traditions and it’s fair to say even part of my character.  The charro outfit is traditional of the Mexican culture and very popular in the state of Jalisco, my home state.  To this date the charros (cowboys) wear this outfit in charreadas (rodeos).   Charreadas are very popular in Mexcio.View full post »
