Welcome TO THE

I'M LYDIA

Thanks for visiting my website. I am a photographer specializing in weddings, High School Seniors and Personal Branding Photographer. My home base is Denver, Colorado but I am available for travel worldwide. I am a wife, a mom.  I am a lover of life, and love anything that has nuts and chocolate. I have the cutest miniature schnauzer name Sir Chauncey.

I love to travel, nature and concerts.   I love fashion but feel my best in an old pair of jeans and t-shirt.  I love to laugh, dance and sing.  I can't carry a tune but who cares, I will still sing and then laugh at myself.  I love to travel and immerse myself in the local culture and cuisine.  I would love to some day be a contestant on The Amazing Race with my husband. I think we would make an awesome team.  I love to meet new people and I want to met YOU

Fiestas Patronales in Guachinago Jalisco One of the many things I love about Mexico is their devotion to traditions and the richness of their culture.  The same can be said for Guachinango Jalisco, a small rural town and municipality located in central-western Mexico and my place of birth. One of the many traditions in Guachinango […]

Fiestas Patronales Guachinango Jalisco

If you know me you know I’m not big into New Year Resolutions. They just don’t work for me. Instead of New Years Resolutions, I like to pick a word for the year. I have been doing this for the last eight years. Now picking a word takes a lot of thought process, reflection in […]

When I think of my childhood, I think of my humble beginnings, I think of this place, El Tecolote (The Owl). This is my maternal grandparent’s ranch. The place where I was born. Where I took my first breath, my first steps. Its the place where I spent every summer up to my teenage years. […]

Day four of our trip took us to explore the Colosseum and Foro Palatino Con Mostra in Italy. To be at a place I only read about for years, was surreal. I tried to put myself at that time in history wondering what it would be like to have lived during then, being an actual […]

My Baby Gril Turns 21! Where do I begin? It’s hard to believe my baby girl turns 21 today! It seems like it was only yesterday that I held this precious soul in my arms. I’m amazed by the beautiful young lady she has become and how much she has achieved so far. Today I […]

25th Wedding Anniversary Today as Curt and I celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary, I’m going to take you down memory lane and sharing some pictures from our 25th Anniversary in Siena, Italy. When Curt and I got married we promised each other that we would renew our vows and celebrate our 25th Anniversary in Italy […]

25th anniversary in Siena, Italy

Can you believe that the first week of 2017 is already over?!  And what a week it has been!  In the  19 years that I have lived in Eugene, I have never seen an ice-snow storm this bad.  The weather has forced a lot of us to stay home and I have been taking full […]

Christmas Eve was just like I wanted.  It was quiet compared to other Christmases but I am grateful to spend time with my small immediate family.  We made and eat breakfast together, help Jeremy pack some of his items, played games, eat more, watched the Cardinals beat the Seahawks….GO CARDINALS…eat more and open gifts.  My heart was […]

Today is Christmas Eve and I plan to enjoy it to the fullest!  Christmas is my favorite time of year…I always look forward to all the decorating, cooking, shopping, wrapping gifts and all the festivities of the season.   As I sit here writing this post I realized how I have let the worries and busyness of […]

A Look Into Lackland Air Force Dorms After Jeremy’s Airman Graduation the Airman had the opportunity to give their families and friends a tour of their dorms.  This was Jeremy’s dorm for 7 1/2 weeks.  It was fun to be able to see how he lived and how organized everything was.  It brought back […]
