He wanted to bring her back to the place, the special place where it all started. The place where they shared their first kiss and promised to be there for each other.  Neither one of them knew where their relationship would take them but where happy to be each others best friend!

To say that I was excited when Claudio asked me to photograph the secret proposal is an understatement.  You see Claudio is my future brother-in-law…which make Kaylee my little sister!

We had made plans to meet at Haceta Beach at a certain time.  We arrived early to scout the place and find a place to hide while we waited for the love birds.  It was an overcast, foggy day and it was also extremely cold and windy.   I think half of my body was numbed by the time Claudio  and Kaylee showed up but it was all worth it! .

I love the fact that Kaylee had no clue .  I felt like a stalker but I must admit it was a lot of fun!

Kaylee and Claudio, I am so excited for you guys.  I look forward to doing your engagement session and helping out with the wedding plans.  I love you both and Claudio, welcome to the family!

After the proposal, we took some time to do a little photo session.  Claudio and Kaylee did awesome despite the cold weather.

These goblets were given to Curt and I as a wedding gift 18 years ago and we used them to toast our first anniversary. Wishing the newly engaged a lifetime full of joy, blessings and happiness!
