Human Sex Trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery in which individuals perform commercial sex through the use of force, fraud, or coercion. Some sex trafficking is highly visible, such as street prostitution. But many trafficking victims remain unseen, operating out of unmarked brothels in unsuspecting and sometimes suburban neighborhoods. This is a multi billion dollar business of modern-day slavery. It is not a foreign problem, sex trafficking is very prevalent here in the United States. It’s happening right here in our neighborhoods and yet we don’t talk much about it or get involved.
On our ongoing efforts to partner with local non-profit organizations, Lydia Gillis Photography is pleased to host the 2nd annual charity fashion show. The event this year aims to highlight the brave work being conducted by Hope Ranch Ministries. Hope Ranch Ministries has a mission to raise awareness about sex trafficking and to provide a safe place to heal for survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation in Lane County. 100% of the proceeds from the 2017 Freedom Fashion Show will go towards Hope Ranch Ministries. The 2017 Freedom Fashion Show is schedule for May 21, 2017 at 7pm.
