The Garner & Gather Summer Soirée was nothing short of magical — a dreamy gathering of women, intentional connection, and summer elegance. I had the honor of photographing this event, and every detail was designed to wow.
Hosted at Kimberly’s (owner of Garner and Gather) private estate, guests were welcomed into a serene countryside setting, complete with a beautiful barn styled in hues of blue, yellow, and green. The backdrop? A lush green field that made every photo glow with natural beauty.
The Setup: Cozy Elegance Meets Summer Chic
The tablescape was an absolute showstopper, thoughtfully styled to capture the spirit of summer with a touch of elegance. The long, low picnic-style table was surrounded by soft toss pillows and cozy blankets, inviting guests to relax and connect. It was beautifully adorned with fresh floral arrangements that brought in vibrant colors and a natural charm. Gentle candlelight added a warm, welcoming glow as guests sipped on signature drinks and sampled a curated charcuterie board. The desserts — all handmade by the talented hostess — were as delightful to look at as they were to eat.
A special shoutout goes to Kendra , who created the most stunning custom cookies that perfectly complemented the event’s color palette and theme. These weren’t just sweet treats — they were edible art and added the perfect finishing touch to the table.
Hands-On Moments + Photo-Worthy Memories
Once everyone had a chance to savor the delicious spread, the gathering moved outdoors for an interactive and unforgettable experience. Guests were invited to handcraft their own beautiful floral bouquets, choosing from an array of fresh blooms to create something uniquely their own. Next, they explored the custom perfume-making station — a creative and fun way to capture the essence of the day in a personalized scent.
Of course, with the breathtaking backdrop of the green field and styled vignettes throughout the estate, there was no shortage of photo opportunities. Every corner was a visual delight, making it a photographer’s dream and a guest’s paradise for capturing memories that will last long after the soirée ended.
The Ladies: Style on Point
One of the things that made this event stand out was the intentionality behind every detail — including the fashion! Garner & Gather sent out a style inspiration board, and the guests understood the assignment.
Each woman arrived in beautiful dresses that perfectly captured the summer aesthetic and color palette, adding even more beauty and elegance to the event.
