I am so excited to be introducing a new series to my blog.  This new series is about celebrating vendors that are involved in the wedding industry.  Every Tuesday I will be featuring a  business and share their uniqueness, their services, artistry and much more.

First in the series is H Boutique.  I had the pleasure of working with Damon and H Boutique on a wedding styled shoot we did at Domaine Merywether last December.  You can view the gallery of the styled shoot here.

Let get to know a little more H Boutique….. What is behind the H Boutique name? The “H” is a salute to company founder Harry Ritchie who was the grandfather of the current, third generation Ritchie leadership. How long has H Boutique been in business? We opened in August 2012 What make your boutique different: This is a new concept store, based on accessible & affordable fashion & fine jewelry. We also design wedding rings to client specifications, which are often non traditional settings and gemstones. Our most popular style is the gentlemen’s cobalt band.  We offer a variety of “day-of-wedding” jewelry; signature necklaces, bracelets, earrings and a variety of bridesmaid and groomsmen gifts.  Our most popular gift for bridesmaids are the initial bracelets and necklaces and for the groomsmen, cufflinks and watches.

Effy is out of New York and specializes in mixing metals, combining yellow, white and rose gold.  Much of their work features genuine sapphires, rubies, and emeralds.  The collection rotates seasonally and the brand has broad appeal across age demographics.  If you have ever taken a cruise, it is likely that you have seen Effy jewelry onboard

How does H Boutique get involved in the community? We sponsor many local charities, often in partnership with Harry Ritchies Jewelers.  Some of my personal favorites are Ducks for Docs which supports Northwest Medical teams, Ballet Fantastique and Bags of Love, an incredibly unique children’s charity.

Michele Watches reflect the urban chic style and are recognizable by the diamonds on their watch faces.  They feature interchangeable straps in a wide variety of colors, textures and materials.  The head and strap of the watch are purchased separately to make each watch fit a customer’s personal style.

What is the best part of working at H Boutique? We enjoy the customer interactions and business connections.  For many hotel guests, we are their first impression of the Eugene community and help them enjoy their stay with our concierge style service, from sparkling up their diamonds, to suggesting the perfect dining options and local highlights.

Mara Hajjar is from Montana, and recently located to Eugene, is the newest addition to the H Boutique collection.  Mara uses alternative metals like copper and brass, and uses a combination of natural and geometric shapes.  She also easily adapts her pieces from one stone to another, according to personal preferences.   Mara has been with us since December and we are very thrilled to have her as part of the H Boutique family.  We invite you to stop by our boutique and check out her work.

How long have you worked there? I am one of the original staff members, who began training long before the physical store was completed. H Boutique is locate in 5th Street Market in Eugene.
