Arizona Sunrise Engagement Session

If you know me, you know I am not a morning person. I can stay up until 5:00 am but don’t ask me to wake up at 5:00 am! However, talk to me about a sunrise photo shoot and my mindset automatically shifts and you don’t have to ask me twice. Tell me there is a plane and hangar involved, and I all ready there! I don’t do a lot of sunrise shoots…and I think I need to… The “magic hour” wether it’s at sunrise or sunset is my favorite time to photograph. I love the soft, diffused light this time of day produces.

This beautiful styled Arizona, sunrise engagement session took place at the The Classic Air Aviation while I was attending a photographer’s conference. The beautiful dawn light and blue skies and the vintage plane made for the perfect backdrop.

I am so glad I made an exception and woke up early despite my lack of sleep over the previous days, to do this shoot. I was all giddy photographing this session.
