Cottage Grove Engagement Session | Corissa and Chris

It’s finally engagement season and I am so excited to finally start working with my couples and having them in front of my camera. Rain was on the forecast but lucky us the rain held until we were done with the session. Chris and Corissa choose to have their engagement session at Cottage Grove Lake because Chris grew up there and it meant a lot to him. Plus it’s close to his parents home and it’s absolutely beautiful!

Chris and Corissa met at an automotive program. He thought it was pretty cool that Corissa was into cars. Corissa’s first impression of Chris was that he was super shy and really cute but kinda crazy since he wore shorts all the time, even when it was super cold out…just like a true Oregonian!

Chris is passionate and loving while Corissa is understanding and patient. Great traits to have for a healthy marriage.

I asked both Corissa and Chris to share what made them fall in love with each other.

Chris: She’s just such a happy, genuine loving girl and the amount of love she gave me made me love her.
Corissa: He loved me for who I was and never wavered on that. He’s forgiving of my mistakes and genuinely cares when I’m struggling. Chris has an amazing heart. It would be hard not to love him.

I had so much fun hanging out with these two. I love watching them be playful with one another and the chimestry they share!
