One of my first weddings I photographed when I started my business was at Deep Woods Events.  It was the wedding of David and Krystal.  I fell in love with this place the minute I saw it.  Besides  offering endless backdrops for photography it is the perfect venue for your special occasion regardless of the time of year or weather conditions.   With the indoor hall, you have the option for an indoor and/or outdoor wedding.

Today I am continuing “For Brides Only Series”  featuring Deep Woods Events.  Deep Woods Events is a gorgeous wedding and special events venue located on eight acres of majestic firs and sequoias, just a few minutes west of Eugene, Oregon.  Deep Woods offers a  beautiful lush green manicure lawn that is surrounded by breathtaking gardens with an array of flowers, ferns, and a walking path along a backdrop of sequoias.

 

Here are some useful FAQs about Deep Woods.

Q:  What is your capacity?

A: Our capacity is 200.

Q: What does it cost to rent the venue?

A:  Rental fee is based on the number people.

Q:  What deposit is required to rent the venue?

A:  The deposit is $500 to secure your date.  $200.00 is a lock-in fee which is refundable after the event and the remaining $300.00 is a cleaning fee which is not refundable. 

Q:  Can we bring our own food or hire our own caterer?

A:  We do not allow outside or pot-luck foods.  Our kitchen is licensed for only our catering company.   

Q:  What are your policies on alcohol?

A:  We recommend that all alcohol be hosted and insured, including your hired bartender /server.

Q:  Can we have fireworks?

A: Per our insurance and the type of natural wooded environment, we do not allow fireworks of any kind. 

Q:  What are your policies on pets?

A:  We are “no” pet facility.  No exceptions!

Q:  Do you provide lodging?

A:  We do not provide on-site lodging.

Q:  Is the venue ADA accessible?

A:  Yes. We have special needs (ADA) parking, restrooms and a ramp to get out into the wedding area.

  What is included with YOUR venue rental:

• 60-inch round tables
• 6-foot and 4-foot tables for gift table, sign-in, catering, beverage or other usage
• 400 chairs*
• We have staff available to set up and tear down for both indoor and outdoor set-ups (weather permitting)
• Parking staff
• Use of both the Bridal Suite and Groomsmen Room
• Garbage and electric service
• Portable sound system
• 200-inch drop-down screen and projector
• Center pieces, décor and props in many styles and colors
• Two portable beverage bars
• Two Kegerators
• Walk-in cooler
• Portable dance floor (for outdoor set-ups only)
• Reception amenities: cake cutting set, champagne bucket, beverage dispensers, coffee pots and other food and beverage service items are available for your use.**
• A facility coordinator is on site for all events.

*Deep Woods has 200 chairs for indoor setups and 200 chairs for outdoor set-ups  for your convenience. You never have to worry about moving chairs from one location to another.

**Linens available for an additional fee.
