A Look Into Lackland Air Force Dorms
After Jeremy’s Airman Graduation the Airman had the opportunity to give their families and friends a tour of their dorms. This was Jeremy’s dorm for 7 1/2 weeks. It was fun to be able to see how he lived and how organized everything was. It brought back so many memories from when I went to boot camp many years ago. I realized somethings are still the same. When Jeremy was young and learning to fold his own clothes and make his own bed, I would teach him how to fold his clothes and make his bed the military way. Till this day I still fold my clothes and make my bed the military way. Jeremy would fight me specially when it came to the 45 degree angles on the sheets. While he was giving us a tour of the dorms, we both look at his bed and then made eye contact. We both had a big grin on our face. He says with a big smile…”I actually like making the 45 degree corners on my bed and it makes sense now why everything needs to be folded a certain way”. What can I say, I would like to get some credit for this, but I will let his MTI take the credit for it. After all it only took his MTI less time to convince him of this.
Look at his locker.
