Mount Pisgah Engagement Session | Karla and Francisco

This year I decided to focus more on the educational side of my business as well as restructuring my business. It’s been quite the journey. I’ve done lots of soul searching, letting go of some things and implementing new ones. I’ve limited myself to the number of weddings and seniors I am shooting this season so I can focus more on the business side and give it the time it deserves. It’s something that I fought for a very long time but it’s turning out to be the best thing I have done in a very long time. My creative nature would rather be photographing than working with systems, drafting a business plan, numbers, and so on.

One of the weddings I am photographing this season is Karla and Francisco’s wedding. These two are quirky and funny. Their energy is contagious and you can’t help but laugh when you are around them.

Karla and Francisco met in High School. It was Karla’s brother who is also Francisco’s friend that introduced them to each other. Francisco’s first impression of Karla was that she was tiny, cute and romantic. Karla loves that he is funny, always making her laugh and the fact that he is twice her size. She needs someone to carry her and hold her. One of the things that surprised Karla the most about Francisco how well he can draw. He is quite the artist! She loves her morning orange juice and he loves his coffee. They are both picky eaters but surprisingly they like the same kind of food and restaurants. Which is a great thing because when I asked them what was their ideal date they both responded going out to dinner and hiking.
