Red and Black Broken Top Wedding in Bend,  OR

When I met with Rachel and Justin to discuss the vision for their wedding two things where a must…the wedding had to take place in Bend as this small town holds a special place for Justin and Rachel.  Bend is where Rachel and Justin met.  Rachel also wanted snow for their wedding.  A lot of their guest where traveling from sunny San Diego and Rachel wanted to provide a different experience for family and friends.

This was my  first time photographing at Broken Top and I can’t say enough great things about this place.  The view alone is charming and picturesque.  The staff was super friendly and inviting and the food was delicious!  The top sirloin with the forrester crust was cooked to perfection.  I hope to photograph there in the near future.

The wedding day was gorgeous!  It had snowed a few days earlier so there was some snow still on the ground.  Rachel and Justin chose to have a first look and this allowed them to be present for part of the cocktail hour.  It was a small intimate wedding but one thing was for sure, there was plenty of love and laughter to go around.

Justin and Rachel, thank you for allowing me to be a part of one of the happiest days of your life! It was such an honor! Enjoy re-living your day and I can’t wait to send you your full gallery.  xoxo
