Oh my…where do I begin??? Today’s post is bittersweet.  I am having a hard time accepting that this beautiful, tenacious, smart young lady is going to be a senior in just a few weeks.  And I could not be any more proud of her.  She has taught me so much about life and has helped me become a better person.  She is my inspiration, my better half.  The one that can make me cry and laugh all at the same time. She is my daughter and if you have not met her, you are missing out in life!

These downtown Eugene urban senior pictures of my daughter, Vanessa, are part of my 2017 marketing campaign for Class of 2017.  Vanessa is a student at Willamette High.  She loves to draw, exercise and fashion.  Her favorite candy is Sour Patch Kids and her favorite drink is water.  When she grows up she wants to be a NICU Nurse.  Her biggest accomplishment so far in high school is taking IB classes and keeping at least a 3.6 gpa.  Her favorite place on earth is Hawaii!

Nessa,  don’t ever settle for second best. I believe in you!  You have been given special gifts.  Nourish them and use them wisely. You are grounded smart, hard worker. I have watch you grow up and act with compassion…this makes my heart burst with pride.  Your kindness, patience, generosity,  wit, sense of humor and overall awesomeness is an example on how I try to live every day.  You are uniquely and wonderfully made by your creator!  It has been, and continues to be an honor and privilege to be your mom.  You make me proud in so many ways.  I love you from the bottom of my heart!
