Grab your cup of coffee or tea and read more of her story!

I love stories. What’s your story?

I feel like this is such a loaded question…it makes me want to spill my whole life story! But I’ll keep things short and sweet 😊 I’m a dog mom, chocoholic, and latte lover. As a teen, I lost my dad to cancer, which drove me to study health and nutrition in college and go into health coaching! In 2014 I took a leap of faith, loaded up my car, and moved with my dog in tow from Denver to San Diego. On that trip, I listened to Tim Ferriss’ 4 Hour Work Week, and it totally opened my eyes to the world of entrepreneurship and personal development. I’ve been back in Denver since 2018, and live and breath all things wellness and personal growth!

Tell me about your business?

I’m a wellness and life coach. I coach my clients 1-on-1, with an emphasis on holistic nutrition and mindset, to help them feel healthier, happier, and more confident in their bodies.

Why did you become an entrepreneur?

I became an entrepreneur because I want to live life on my own terms. Entrepreneurship allows me to create the impact, freedom, and money I want in my life; but beyond that, I chose entrepreneurship because it pushes me to continue growing and evolving into the next best version of myself!

Who is your ideal client?

I work with women who are ready to make a change to their physical and emotional health, but who feel a bit stuck and aren’t quite sure how to go about it. My ideal clients know they are meant for more, and just need a little help working through things like procrastination and self-sabotage.

As an entrepreneur, we face a lot of challenges, what has been your biggest challenge?

There’s a quote I love, “your mess is your message.” My biggest challenge as an entrepreneur has been overcoming my imposter syndrome and really believing in myself, which is why I find it so rewarding to help other women reconnect to their inherent worth and inner wisdom!

What has been you biggest accomplishment in your business?

While I believe the best is yet to come in my business, my biggest accomplishment so far has been making my business a unique reflection of my own experiences, knowledge, and vision – rather than trying to fit it to the mold of what others might think it should be.

What’s one thing you’ve learned about yourself as an entrepreneur?

I’ve learned that my default is to want to avoid failure, and much of my growth is in learning to embrace failing for what it really is – feedback and learning.

What advice would you give someone who just started or wants to become an entrepreneur?

Don’t be afraid to ask for help, but also trust your own intuition. There is no right or wrong way to be an entrepreneur, only the way that works best for YOU.

Share one fun fact about yourself?

I danced ballet through middle school and high school, and can still do the splits on both sides!

What’s your favorite quote?

It’s impossible to choose just one! But currently, one of my faves is, “you get in life what you have the courage to ask for.” – Oprah
