Amanda and Zach’s beautiful Zenith Vineyard Wedding.Zach and Amanda shared their vows at the beautiful Zenith Vineyard. I was so blessed to be their photographer for their special occasion. Zach and Amanda are two of the nicest, laid back, down to earth, people I’ve met. They shared their story with me and how they met over dinner one day after their engagement session. The two of them met at La Grande while both of them where going to college at Eastern Oregon University. Friends invited them to a bonfire and even though they hardly spoke to each other, three years later, Zach proposed to Amanda at the Eiffel Tower in Las Vegas. You don’t need to spend much time with these two to know they were meant for each other.
I truly enjoyed photographing Zach and Amanda’s Zenith Vineyard wedding, meeting family and friends, and hearing more stories about the two of them. This wedding was not just about honoring the bride and groom but it was also about honoring family and their legacy. These two families that are now one have a strong bond and it was evident throughout the day. Lots of joyful tears and yes, even some bittersweet ones as they honored Zach’s mom, Debbie, who is no longer with them. Most of the time I leave weddings extremely exhausted, as I should. Zach and Amanda’s wedding was a little different though. I left not only exhausted but refreshed! The love at this wedding was energizing.
Zach and Amanda, thank you so much from trusting me with such an important day in your lives. You two made my job easy and it’s the reason why I love my job. Enjoy some of my favorite pictures from your special day and I can’t wait to show you the rest! oxox
The pearl necklace belonged to Amanda’s grandma. Priceless family heirloom! The ring bearer pillow and two garters where made from Amanda’s mom, Tami, wedding dress. I might have cried while taking these next pictures. The father daughter first look was one of my favorite moments of the day. Amanda and her dad, Rick have a very special bond.Perfect day for a wedding!Grandma Bonnie, the lady in the blue suit, is wearing her wedding dress she wore 51 years ago. You heard right 51 years ago and she still looks stunning!
Therer was a lot of love and kissing going on at this wedding and it was beautiful! Weldon, Zach’s dad, lighting a candle in honor of Zach’s mom, Debbie. Same candle that was used at her memorial service.
The flower petals where also from Zach’s mom’s memorial service. Amanda had them dried for the wedding. This was such a special tribute to Mrs Debbie. The cake topper was from Amanda’s grandparents wedding 51 years ago! My favorite of Amanda!
And this almost didn’t happen and it’s one of my favorite pictures of the bride and groom.
