Erik Class of 2013: City Boy Gone Country | Eugene Senior Photographer

October 12, 2012

Filed in: Portraits, Seniors

Photographing high school seniors is  so much fun. I love when they have a concept in mind and that concept becomes a reality. When I first met Erik for his consultation, he already knew what kind of photo session he wanted. He is an all around city boy but he also wanted a little bit of country.  We chose Down Town Eugene for part of his session and a private residence for his country theme.

Erik’s friends were kind enough to let us borrow their property and their horse.  Erik has never been around horses much less ride one so I wasn’t sure how the session was going to turn out.  Luckily Cody, the horse, was very friendly and after a few minutes of meeting each other, Erik and Cody were best friends.

Erik, thank you so much for letting me hang out with you.  Enjoy your senior year.  It’s going to go really fast.  So have lots of fun and hold on to the memories.

This was Erik’s first time on a horse and I say he looks like a natural.

Erik and Cody, they waited all their lives for this moment!
