Jacob & Rochelle Get Married | Eugene, Oregon Wedding Photographer

October 11, 2012

Filed in: Wedding

I did a photo shoot of Rochelle during the summer of 2011 and at the end of the shoot she mentioned that she wanted me to photograph her wedding the following year.  Well that took me by surprise!  I have known Rochelle for the last fourteen years and we both attend the same church.  So how could I have missed the big news of her engagement?  Come to find out Rochelle was not engaged at this time but she had met the love of her life. Rochelle and Jacob were introduced by mutual friends  and I think for Rochelle it was love at first sight. Rochelle and Jacob were engaged a few months later and I am so glad she still wanted me to photograph her wedding.  Rochelle and her family have a very special place in my heart so I was beyond thrilled to be part of their special day.

Jacob and Rochelle were married August 25, 2012 at Eugene Christian Fellowship, a place she calls her 2nd home.  Everything about their day was beautiful and there was no denying how much love was surrounding them.

Jacob and Rochelle, thank you so much for allowing me to capture your love story.  As new chapters in your lives are written, I pray they overflow with God’s love,  favor and richest blessings.  Love you guys.

I also want to give a huge thanks to my awesome husband, Curt, for photographing this wedding with me. And my daughter, Vanessa for being the best assistant ever.  We sure make a great team!

Rochelle’s “something old” is a bracelet given to Rochelle’s grandmother by her grandfather when Rochelle’s grandmother was 18 years old.

She is so beautiful!

I absolutely love when the bride and groom do a “First Look”!

Jacob and Rochelle also exchanged cards and gifts during their first look.

The center pieces and reception details where all made by family and friends.

The cake knives were their “something borrowed”. They were given to Jacob’s grandparents for their 65th Anniversary. These knives will be used by many future generations at their wedding.

Thanks for stopping by and make sure to leave Jacob and Rochelle some love!
