I Am Fearfully and Wonderfully Made (Part ll): Shelly and Easton ~ Teen Mom’s Photo Session | Eugene Senior Photographer

September 9, 2012

Filed in: Portraits, Seniors

Wonderful things happen when you listen. Last year I was invited to be part of a project my friend and fellow photographer Katie Campbell was launching. Something very dear to her heart and mine as well. When I heard what she was doing I was more than willing to help. I have a very special place in my heart for women, especially young women. This was going to be a day of pampering and capturing teen mom’s beauty. Making them feel important and valued. I was so blessed to be part of this special project last year that when Katie announced earlier this spring that she was doing again, I was there!

You can visit Katie’s blog You make Beautiful Things Teen Mom’s Photo Session and learn more about how it all started.

I did two photo session that day.  You can view Sandra and her daughter Camila’s session on the August 1st blog post.

But for now I leave you with Shelly and her handsome eight month old son, Easton.  Shelly’s bubbly personalty and laughter was contagious.  And Easton, well he could be a Gerber baby.  One look into his big blue eyes and you are smitten! I could squeeze his cheeks all day long!

I love this tender moment between them!

We took some time to photograph mom by herself….because every mom deserves it!  Shelly’s eyes draw me to her.
