Darin and Amy : Down Town Eugene Wedding | Eugene Wedding Photographer

September 12, 2012

Filed in: Wedding

I was moving folders from one hard drive to another when I came across this wedding I shot a while back. So sad it never got blogged and it’s too beautiful of a wedding not to make it to the blog. So here it is.

Darin and Amy got married at St. Mary’s Episcopal in down town Eugene and the reception was at The Hilton.  It was a beautiful, fun, energetic wedding.  Amy was not only stunning, she was charming and enjoyed every minute of her wedding day. I love watching the chemistry between Darin and Amy. The love that they have for each other and their family and friends as well.

I am so grateful for the opportunities that I have to assist other photographers.  Not only am I building friendships but there is always something to learn from their talented and unique style.  Russell and Jayme Elsevier, thank you for allowing me to assist you on this wedding.

Here is my perspective from an assistants point of view.

This picture always gets me….Amy’s dad, Joe, looking at her with pride and joy as the bride’s maids finish the last touches on his little girl.

Amy’s “something old” was the sequins on her bouquet. The sequins was from Amy’s grandmother’s wedding dress. I love when brides incorporate some family heirloom into their wedding.

There is something about stained glass windows. I can stare at them all day and appreciate it’s artistic beauty.

Amy made the cake topper.
