We meet at LOVEJOY BAKERS in Pearl District downtown Portland for their engagement session. Amanda and Zach had never been there before so together we explored all the nooks and crannies of Pearl District in Portland. Capturing their relationship in the most beautiful urban setting. We had to reschedule their engagement session once before and even though we weren’t able to photograph around the sherry blossoms, we could have not asked for a better day. Here is part one of Amanda and Zach’s Pearl District engagement session. Part two will be on the blog next Tuesday so make sure to check back. The golden light was perfection! It was a stormy night; a young woman by the name of Amanda Vauble had entered the residence of Mr. Roberts. Not knowing that a love story was in the midst. Amanda was 18 years old, full of energy and had a bright outlook onto the world, Zach stood at 6’8, super tall and extremely good looking, was looking for his long lost love. Their eyes met across the room, Amanda blushed with the attention she was getting. Zach tall in nature but shy at heart was astonished at this women’s exemplary beauty! He slowly walked over; his hair shimmering he slowly asked her name. In a room full of people she could only focus on this magnificent hunk! Before the two could fully talk they were dragged away from each other to go to a bonfire. Don’t fret the love story doesn’t end here! After a perilous journey to the bonfire, the two love struck stranger’s destinies would soon intertwine. Through the fleeting smoke and the glimmer of the fire Amanda’s eyes soon found Zach but was too afraid of what her future with him may lead too, she reluctantly walked away. As the fire begin to die down Zach left the mountain knowing that he wouldn’t take defeat in trying to court the beautiful Amanda. As days and months passed by, Zach continually tried to pursue the beautiful Amanda when suddenly she decided to take a chance… A chance for a lifetime of happiness! Two and half years later Amanda agreed to spend the rest of her life with Zach on the top of the Eiffel tower in Las Vegas. As cheesy as this story was it reflects just how much fun we have with each other and how our love for each other is more than life. We are excited to experience each of life’s special moments together… This is just the beginning of our love story. by Amanda V
