Happy 1st Anniversary Ryan and Sarah

It’s hard to believe that it was a year ago, yesterday,  that Ryan and Sarah said their I Do’s!  My how time flies! When Elizabeth Clark from Elizabeth Clark Photography asked me to assist her I was so excited to find out it was Ryan and Sarah’s wedding . I have known Sarah for quite sometime.  She was one of my daughter’s violin teachers at the University of Oregon CMI and was part of our worship team at our church.  She plays the viola like no other.  You are greatlyView full post »

Brighter Friday

Earlier this week someone posted on a forum I belong to a question I thought was very simple to answer…”Why do I love God?”  My response was, because He is my creator and He has blessed me in ways I don’t deserve.  Over the week I have pondered that same question, “Why do I love God?”  The song “In Christ Alone” keeps playing in my head..…. …..There in the ground His body lay Light of the world by darkness slain Then bursting forth in glorious Day Up from the grave He rose again And as HeView full post »

Krystal and David

It was a beautiful Eugene day.  Perfect weather to capture the love of a perfect couple.  When Krystal and David showed up in David’s truck I knew right away  we where going to have fun. They brought a big ladder, a tub full of goodies, change of clothes  and a power drill! Krystal and David put a lot of thought into their shoot.  They wanted to make sure their session captured the essence of who they are as a couple.  I love it when couples bring their own ideas to the shoot. I loveView full post »

When I arrived back from my trip, the first thing I noticed was how much myView full post »

Happy Mother’s Day!

I know mother’s day is not till this coming Sunday, the 13th, but today I am going with the Mexican tradition. In Mexico, mother’s day is always celebrated on May 10th. So today, I want to honor my beautiful mom, Catalina. What makes my mom special besides being my mom?  The simple fact that she give birth to eight children and did not go insane! She is an amazing woman and one of the hardest working people I know.  Some of the many qualities I love about my mom is her heart toView full post »
