I can’t believe it’s been this long since I last blogged about Brighter Friday. My oh my this summer has turned out to be an extremely busy one for me. With every weekend being booked with weddings or some kind of photo session. So between the business of the wedding season and all the editing that comes with it, I have neglected my garden and my Brighter Friday Post!. I was playing in my back yard today with my dog and the sweet smell of stargazers lilies caught my attention. So fragrant and beautiful!
This week I am overwhelmed with gratitude towards God. He continues to bless me and gives me the desires of my heart. I am grateful for the four weddings I am shooting in the next two weeks. I am grateful that my dad is recovering from what seemed like an endless amount of eye surgeries, and he has recovered most of his sight. I am grateful that my kids are at camp having fun and spending time with God. I am grateful for my new friends I met today from Royal Image who were so willing to let me use one of their cool Impalas for my photo shoot. I am grateful for fresh flowers that make my days brighter.
Enjoy these pictures I shot with a Nikon D700 and the 105 2.8 macro lens. This lens is a beast and I am head over heels over it. Unfortunately it’s not mine but some day I hope to own my own. Most of the pictures are sooc (straight out of the camera). It’s fair to say I am loving this pair!
