Shawell Farm Cottages | United Kingdom -

I’m finally coming around to blogging and sharing my trip to the UK. What an experience that was! Mu husband, Curt, and I took a two week trip to visit friends and explore England and Scotland. It was everything we wanted and more. Over the next few days, I will be sharing our journey on my blog along with pictures of our trip.

Today, I will start by sharing pictures of the Airbnb on the first part of our trip. We stayed at Shawell Farm Cottages which is located in the Midlands of England. Shawell Farm Cottages is situated on a working farm in the lovely village of Shawell in the county of Leicestershire. They took some of their exciting buildings and converted them into little cottages and airbnbs. They have eight private cottages with a shared community courtyard.

We stayed in the Cow Shed Cottage (I love the name), a self-catering cottage with all the amenities. We loved our little cottage! The cottage was very clean, quiet, comfortable, and cozy. A perfect place to unwind and relax. We loved the rural nature of it, the cottages are located out and away from the business of the city or town. It was perfect for the two of us. Our only regret is that we didn’t have a lot of down time to enjoy all of it’s beauty and everything it has to offer.

Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and highly recommend this place for your next adventure!
